Akanthos are creators of the finest English bespoke furniture, entirely hand made of the finest materials in our Norfolk workshop by our highly skilled craftsmen. Akanthos create unique designs inspired by the Golden Age of English furniture making in the Regency and Georgian periods and also contemporary designs. Our furniture is true to the style and proportions of the classic or modern eras and each piece created is eminently collectible. We use only traditional methods such as hand dovetailing hand carving and French polishing. Our clients include architects interior designers and discerning connoisseurs of fine furniture both antique and modern. Our products include dining and occasional tables, chairs, sideboards, chests chest-of-drawers, mirrors and bookcases. We also undertake restoration and reproduction projects.
