The Australian government has decided it will introduce a trading scheme to reduce carbon emissions, it's called an ETS.
An ETS is complicated financial engineering that will increase prices.
The Australian Environment Foundation is a different kind of environment group caring for both Australia and Australians.
We are building an Internet campaign to oppose the ETS because despite all the spin, the bottom-line is an ETS:
1. Will not change global temperatures;
2. Will force Australian jobs overseas; and
3. Will make Australians poorer; while it is richer, not poorer nations that are better able to protect their natural environment.
This faulty carbon trading scheme will cost, and won't pay.
