Sustainable Environment Advocates ("sea") is the result of an evolution of a lifelong love of the ocean and outdoors. Along the way I have gone from the beaches of my native Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts, mountains of New Hampshire and Vermont, the craggly coast of Maine, to across the continent and the beaches, mountains and desert of Southern California. From Commonwealth Avenue and Storrow Drive in Boston to State Street and the I-5 Freeway in San Diego, it's been a journey through academia, work and volunteerism. I hope to bring my voice and passion as an advocate for a more sustainable environment in the areas of clean air, clean water, renewable energy and transportation. Welcome to sea!

Animal Advocates - Home
Established in 1984, Animal Advocates is a non-profit, all-volunteer, Pittsburgh-based animal welfare organization involved in the rescue and permanent placement of cats and dogs who are in need of finding new homes. Many of our animals are either special needs or came to us when previous owners were forced to relinquish their pets under difficult circumstances. Others come from open door shelters who can only keep animals for a very limited period of time.
