The power or active aspect of God Almighty is the Adi Shakti. Brahman is unchanging consciousness. Adi Shakti is His changing Power which appears as mind and matter. Shakti is the embodiment of power. She runs this world-show. She maintains the sportive play or Lila of the Lord. She is the supporter of the vast universe. She is the supreme Power by which the world is upheld. She is the Universal Mother. She is Durga, Lakshmi, Sarasvati, Kali, Chandi, Chamundi, Tripurasundari and Rajarajesvari. Shakti is
Lalita, Kundalini and Parvati. There is no difference between God Almighty and His Shakti, just as there is no difference between the sun and its light.

Composer, arranger and pianist Adi Yeshaya has resided in the Twin Cities since 1988. Born in Israel, he graduated Berklee College of Music (Boston) in 1985. His national and international credits includes arranging assignments for vocal stars Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston & Lena Horne, conductors Doc Severinsen & Eiji Oue and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Currently he serves as a staff composer and arranger for Jazaar, an annual jazz festival in Zurich, Switzerland, which features some of the world's top jazz performers.
