Acton International Gospel Lighthouse
International Gospel Lighthouse Church is a Christ-Centered Apostolic,Pentecostal Holiness congregation, founded upon the infallible Word of God.
As such, we believe and teach the Apostles doctrine, endeavoring to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
We believe in the Bible standard of full salvation, believing on the Lord through repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
We believe the Bible teaches that there is only one true, ever living, eternal God, infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose, and possessing absolute, invisible deity. The One true God has revealed Himself as Father, through His Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost, by emanation. This one true God manifested Himself in the Old Testament in various ways; in the Son while he walked among men; as the Holy Ghost after the ascension.
We believe in divine healing, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus.
This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

Self-expression
through photography and the use of many types
of artistic media has been a life long passion for me. As a
photographer I look for candid moments that
express emotion, especially enthusiasm and humor. I love to capture the
unique ways in which people decorate their homes, interact with their
children and their pets and express their individuality. With camera in
hand I scout for spontaneous expressions of individuality and I hope to
share the humor, joy and mystery I find in daily living with my
viewers.
Converting from film
to digital photography opened a whole new
world
for me. Once a young girl asked Annie Lebowitz how to become a
photographer and Lebowitz responded: “take lots of pictures”. Digital
equipment has helped me to be much more spontaneous and prolific in my
photography work. I rarely go anywhere without a camera and I never run
out of “film”. In addition to candid photography and landscape
photography I also do photo restoration, photo painting, and create
photobooks.
Photographers and
visual artists who have influenced my visual
thinking include Margaret Burke-White, David Hockey, Tony Mendoza,
Ulrike Welsch, Gary Winogrand and especially Ben Shan.
