Cambridge School is an educational environment for students diagnosed with language-based learning differences including dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, dysgraphia, expressive and receptive language disorder, ADHD/ADD, Aspergers Syndrome, Non Verbal Learning Disability, and dyspraxia. Often our students have learning issues relating to short term, long term, and working memory deficits. Cambridge School programs are multi-sensory and hands-on in nature. The researched based programs used at Cambridge include Wilson Reading System / Fundations®, Orton-Gillingham, Seeing Stars®, On Cloud Nine, Visualizing and Verbalizing® and Making Math Real. Language teachers are level 1 certified in the Wilson Reading system. Pragmatic language services are offered to students on a weekly basis to enhance social communication skills. Cambridge is accredited by Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools and the National Independent Private Schools Association and is also a member of ADVIS. Students who need special education because they are diagnosed with a learning disability should contact Cambridge School.
