Since 1980, Russel Considine has provided professional photographs for hundreds of clients, both commercial and private. Russ learned a significant amount of his photographic technique from the renowned historical photographer: Nelson Gilbert. Nelson Gilbert was the protégé of Ansel Adams. These are all limited edition photographs taken by Gilbert in the days surrounding the Inauguration of JFK. Mr. Considine's Family owns the negatives/rights for all of these photographs. Originally specializing in sports and landscape photography (please see the link of sports and landscape samples), Russ has recently branched out into portrait photography, with an emphasis on informal individual and/or family portraits taken at the client's desired location. Family pets are encouraged to be present (if so desired)! Typical assignments last from a minimum of 3 hours to a full day (or days) assignment. The photographic settings have ranged from the client's: apartment, house, local park, favorite vacation site, and childrens sporting event(s). Russ enjoys adding artistic effects to his photos utilizing various software techniques, and he will graphically present these options to you, should you so desire.
