Garo Tavitjan, Junior (b. 1982 Skopje) is a Macedonian musician. He started playing drums and piano at early age, as his father, Garabet Tavitjan, is a professional drummer in the Balkans. He attended music school in Skopje and studied percussion and piano. He recorded and performed at numerous concerts organized within the Skopje music high school by its orchestra, jazz ensembles and pop bands. Tavitjan received a number of awards at percussion and drum competitions and festivals while he studied and had many solo performances at the Days of Macedonian Music. After finishing music school, he received a fellowship from Berklee College in Boston, Massachusetts.
