The agency is highly experienced in providing services to multi-need youth and families based on its focus of helping youth who are detained by the dependency and/or legal systems as well as involvement with the mental health system. D&M has been a social service agency since 1910, when it was first founded as an orphanage for children, in the city of La Verne, CA. For 98 years, the agency has continually expanded its ability to offer a wider range of services to the community at-large as well as continuing to provide the best possible therapeutic care in its level 12 residential treatment center. We offer a residential rehabilitation program which includes assessments, group therapy, extensive one on one counseling, family counseling, education on addiction and recovery, spirituality, relapse prevention, Internet Addiction and self-injurious behaviors treatment, emancipation and transitional living programming.
