#901496. Children's Museum of Fond du Lac
The Children's Museum of Fond du Lac, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization which provides interactive hands-on learning experiences for children ages birth through ten years. The Childrens Museum has a respect for childhood and for the relationship between children and their caregivers. The museum supports the theory that there is great value and power in constructive play. The ability to enhance educational opportunities within our community directs the design of our exhibits and programs. Since June of 2002, the Childrens Museum has welcomed thousands of children, to its safe and fun exhibits. The Childrens Museum has hosted five temporary events. These events spanned from 2 days to one month in length. Each event drew more and more visitors and welcomed children from Fond du Lac, Dodge, Calumet and Winnebago counties, including many schools. These events have been held at different locations in Fond du Lac. The organization is currently designing exhibits and programs for a permanent facility.
