Asia Connection Incorporated (ACI) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization incorporated in the State of Florida in the year 2000. Its mission is To provide financial assistance for agencies and individuals involved in health and welfare projects as well as for emergency relief in needy parts of the world, with a particular focus on Asia (from the Bylaws). The majority of Asia Connections grants go to organizations and individuals unlikely to appear on the radar screens of larger charitable organizations. A major criterion for grant making is that the recipient and the work of the recipient be known personally to at least one of the six members of the Board. Policy: Please note that Asia Connection Inc. does not accept unsolicited grant applications. While many of the programs we help support are church-sponsored, it is Asia Connections policy to focus on health and welfare activities without promoting any particular sect, creed, or religion. The six board members serve without compensation. We have no paid staff, ensuring that Asia Connections operating expenses are minimal. Most of our grants are small ($1,000 +/-), but pin-pointed to address specific needs with maximum efficiency.
