Simply put, avocadoan.com is the result of frustration, frustration with the city of El Paso. Specifically with El Paso´s economy and local government. The growth of that frustration continues as we watch City Council meetings and read about the state of El Paso´s economy and how it compares (or does not) to others across the nation. If you are not aware of why we are frustrated with the aforementioned things, we simply hope that this site will make you aware. We want to inform you and offer our perspectives. Once informed, we hope that young educated people will have a greater presence in this city and in turn make this city better; make it a city that young people come to instead of a city that young people leave. The young professional movement in El Paso has to start somewhere…
