#764053. Nancy Youdelman - Fine Art, Mixed Media, Sculpture
Nancy Youdelman is a mixed media artist who has been exhibiting her artwork since 1972. She has the distinction of having been part of the very first feminist art class that was taught by Judy Chicago in 1970 at California State University, Fresno. She continued her participation in the Feminist Art Program (1971—1972) at California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, where she participated in the internationally acclaimed project, Womanhouse (1972), received her BFA from CalArts in 1973 and then her MFA with an emphasis in sculpture from UCLA in 1976. She currently lives in Clovis, California and teaches sculpture at California State University, Fresno. She is the recipient of numerous awards including recent grants from the Pollock/Krasner and the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundations. She is represented by the SFMOMA Artists Gallery in San Francisco and Eight Modern in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
