GREATER TRENTON BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE, GTBHC, private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, licensed by the State of New Jersey, NJ, provider, mental health, substance abuse services, multi-service behavioral health organization, serving the residents of Mercer County since 1981, innovator, developing new approaches and solutions to a wide range of community problems, helping vulnerable, at-risk populations, increase their ability to function independently in the community, and to assume their rightful place as productive citizens. Intervening at the first sign of a problem, we reduce the need to more costly forms of care, saving the taxpayer millions annually. GTBHC PROVIDES crisis prevention and outreach services, intensive rehabilitation for mental health and substance abuse problems, and outpatient treatment - including individual, group and family therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and medication monitoring. We provide outreach to employers, churches and community organizations, offering services to those experiencing reactions to threats of terrorism and other forms of violence.
