Women's Rights and Advocacy in the Pacific - Home
Description: WRAP or Women’s Rights and Advocacy in the Pacific is an Aotearoa NZ based group made up of New Zealand organisations (or affiliates of international organisations) which promote and work on the rights of women in the Pacific as all or part of their remit. Large differentials between women’s and men’s access to resources, education and economic and political participation, as well as widespread violence against women, cause whole societies and economies to be severely limited in achieving health, economic and development goals.
