Underwater and Wildlife Photography - Richard Goluch

Description: Richard Goluch was born and raised in communist Poland where he dreamed from childhood of exploring the world. His dream became reality as he escaped communism in 1981 and began a new life in Denver, Colorado in 1982. Propelled by his love of nature, Richard spent every free moment exploring the Colorado wilderness and capturing the beauty around him with his camera. In 2005 the scope of his adventures expanded into underwater realms and marine life photography. As his skill as a photographer increased so did his desire to share his experiences and pictures of natural beauty with others. In 2006 encouraged by friends and family, he launched a new career as an underwater and wildlife photographer. Today, Richard focuses on photographing marine life in his favorite locations of Lembeh and Raja Ampat, Indonesia. He is particularly skilled at capturing the smallest nudibranch or pygmy seahorse in breathtaking detail. While back in the US, he enjoys photographing wildlife in his Centennial, CO neighborhood as well as throughout the western United States.
