Washington Basset Rescue
Description: Washington Basset Rescue WABR is a non-profit rescue and referral organization dedicated to placing unwanted Basset Hounds into suitable homes, and preventing unwanted bassets from overloading the shelter system. Towards attaining those goals, WABR promotes responsible dog ownership by educating the public in the selection, care and training of Basset Hounds. Washington Basset Rescue works cooperatively with reputable breeders, animal shelters, breed clubs and individuals to accomplish these goals.
