Description: BobbyWilcoxson.com, AlNussbaum.com, Bobby Wilcoxson and Al Nussbaum were notorious bank robbers of the early 1960's. They were convicted of robbing several banks in New England, including the Lafayette National Bank in Brooklyn, New York on December 15, 1961. Bank guard Henry Kraus was killed by a blast from a Thompson Submachine Gun. Police Foot Patrolman Salvatore Accardi was hit by a round from the machine gun but the bullet struck his badge and his life was saved. Wilcoxson and Nussbaum took nearly $260,000 from eight banks within 18 months. They were on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted List. Wilcoxson traveled with Jacqueline Rose. Nussbaum was married to Alicia Majchrowicz.
