Description: A D | a r c h i t e c t , established in 1996, we are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in architectural design. The principal, Antonino Donato is a registered architect with nearly 20 years of experience having graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston with a Bachelor of Architecture and an Associate degree in Engineering; he also studied architecture in Venice Italy. We have completed projects ranging in scale and complexity from new residences, additions and renovations for single families, to large-scale condominium projects, retail spaces and restaurants, although a large focus of our work is the design of elegant custom residences throughout New England. Our Philosophy, we pride ourselves on the ability to listen to our clients and understand not only their functional requirements, but also their aesthetic aspirations. We believe that good architecture should not be limited to only the largest most expensive projects but can be applied universally. Often the most thoughtful designs result in the simplest solutions. In the design process we apply a wide array of methods from traditional hand sketches to computer generated three-dimensional models. We believe in offering clients access to the whole language of architecture, without limiting ourselves to any stylistic school or niche. By presenting options from across the spectrum, we make clear that our aim is not to make an architectural statement for ourselves, but to produce buildings that express something essential and authentic about their owner, their place, and their time; with integrity to their style and their materials.
